The Leonard offers a slightly more individualistic alternative to the other 4-star hotels in central London, most of which are chain properties. It has an unbeatable location close to Oxford Street and the atmosphere is relaxed but efficient. The only criticism some guests have is that the size of the rooms varies markedly (perhaps because the hotel occupies four 18th century townhouses.)
Occupying four 18th century townhouses, the Leonard has been a London home-from-home for celebrities and leading business people since 1996. Its management pride themselves on providing a warm, intimate and luxurious atmosphere. All the guest rooms are individually decorated with exquisite fabrics, antiques and a variety of furnishings. They are in excellent condition, as are the en suite marble bathrooms. Other hotel features include the Café Bar, where simple meals are available from a refreshing menu, throughout the day, an exercise room and a meeting room for up to 15 delegates.
